Resources for working with OQPC on Queensland legislation
OQPC works with government policy officers to prepare new Queensland legislation. OQPC also works with members of Parliament and their staff to prepare private members' legislation for consideration by Parliament. OQPC's website contains resources to assist people who work with OQPC to develop legislation. Included is information about fundamental legislative principles and how these principles are considered when drafting legislation, and information about how the Human Rights Act 2019 requires new legislation to be scrutinised to ensure it is compatible with human rights.
Go to Instructing OQPC on the OQPC website to access these resources.
