1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Casino Control (Supervision Levy) Amendment Regulation 2024.

2Commencement

This regulation commences on 21 June 2024.

3Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Casino Control Regulation 1999.

4Insertion of new s 46D

After section 46C—
insert—

46DProportion of total amount of supervision levy for casino licensee—Act, s 50B

(1)This section prescribes, for section 50B(3) of the Act, the proportion of the total levy amount for which a casino licensee for a casino mentioned in table 1 or 2, column 1 is liable.
(2)For the financial year starting 1 July 2024, the proportion of the total levy amount is stated opposite the casino in table 1, column 2—

Queen’s Wharf casino see the Queen’s Wharf Brisbane Act 2016, schedule 2.
Townsville casino means the casino to which the agreement mentioned in the Breakwater Island Casino Agreement Act 1984, section 2, relates.
