This regulation may be cited as the Electoral (Provision of Information on Electoral Rolls) Amendment Regulation 2021.
This regulation amends the Electoral Regulation 2013.
After section 3—
insert—3AQueensland Health prescribed as organisation for giving electoral roll information for particular purpose—Act, s 61
(1)This section applies in relation to the information in the entire electoral roll for each electoral district, other than to the extent the information—(a)relates to a silent elector; or(b)is the date a person was enrolled on the electoral roll.(2)For section 61(2) of the Act, item 1—(a)Queensland Health is prescribed as an organisation to whom a copy of the information may be given; and(b)the purpose of contacting persons in Queensland in relation to the Australian COVID-19 vaccination arrangements is prescribed for the circumstances in which the information may be given to Queensland Health.(3)In this section—Australian COVID-19 vaccination arrangements see the Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation 1996, appendix 9.Queensland Health means the department in which the Public Health Act 2005 is administered.
