Water (SEQ Bulk Suppliers and Bulk Water Customers) Amendment Regulation 2020

1Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Water (SEQ Bulk Suppliers and Bulk Water Customers) Amendment Regulation 2020.

2Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Water Regulation 2016.

3Amendment of s 83 (Declaration of bulk water customers—Act, s 360C, definition bulk water customer)

Section 83(2)—
omit, insert—

(2)Also, for section 360C of the Act, definition bulk water customer, paragraph (b), each of the following entities is declared to be a bulk water customer for chapter 2A, part 3 of the Act—

(a)CleanCo Queensland Limited ACN 628 008 159;

(b)Seqwater.

4Insertion of new s 83A

After section 83—
insert—

83ADeclaration of SEQ bulk suppliers—Act, s 360C, definition SEQ bulk supplier

For section 360C of the Act, definition SEQ bulk supplier, paragraph (b), the Central SEQ Distributor-Retailer Authority, established under the South-East Queensland Water (Distribution and Retail Restructuring) Act 2009, section 8, is declared to be an SEQ bulk supplier for chapter 2A, part 3 of the Act.
